SD42 AT THE FAIR

SD42 Republicans were on hand to greet visitors to the 2005 Minnesota State Fair.

On the left, former State Representative Peter Adolphson distributes balloons to the kids.

Governor Pawlenty was there for much of the day personally greeting constituents and several other state and local Republicans were on hand to visit with the public as well.

In addition to talking issues and loading up on buttons and bumper stickers, visitors can take a break in the shaded patio area, and are invited to sign any of three petitions:

(1) Support Judge John Roberts confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court.

(2) Oppose allowing judges to redefine marriage.

(3) Support of property rights (urging legislation to oppose the recent U.S. Supreme Court Kelo decision which allows the government to take your property away for any reason).

The state GOP booth is open every day of the Fair and is centrally located right between the Old Mill and WCCO radio.
