2005 PATRIOT APPRECIATION PICNIC PHOTOS
On Saturday, July 30, AM1280 The Patriot held its annual "Patriot Appreciation Picnic" at Staring Lake Park in Eden Praire. Hundreds of folks showed up to take part in a wonderful catered lunch, free Patriot frisbees, door prizes, and watch live broadcasts David Strom Live and The Northern Alliance Radio Network.
Several of our local elected officials were called on to take part. On the left, State Senator David Hann talks education with Margaret Martin, Cheri Pierson Yecke, and Taxpayers League President David Strom (David Strom's show can be heard on AM 1280 every Saturday from 9 AM to noon). U.S. Representative Mark Kennedy discusses issues with constituents and was the featured guest on the Northern Alliance radio broadcast. Kennedy discussed issues ranging from the upcoming U.S. Supreme Court confirmation hearings, stem cell research, the current race to succeed him in the sixth district, and CAFTA.
